Taking samples from soul classics like sade and Tina Turner to jumping hip hop great songs like Common's 'Go' J cole continues to match his amazing lyrical content with a flow that has you moving, then listening to catch that punchline.
With the leaks, the videos and the mixtape J. Cole has put a steady plan of keeping the interest firmly attached to him. His tracks are always of a calibre that make looking forward to the album easy, even if every day you want Roc Nation to push it forward.
Awaiting arguably the album of the year.
